TRACKWORK ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES
MINIATURE, HIGH CURRENT
SWITCHING,
INDUSTRIAL QUALITY, SDPT AND
DPDT RELAYS
FOR EASY
SWITCHED LIVE FROGS, DCC SHORT PREVENTION
AND MANY OTHER TRACK CIRCUITS
We are happy to explain how to use these
for
switching live frogs
and many other operations. They are
suitable for DC or higher current DCC use.
Please see our new Relay
and Switch Wiring Information/Tutorial page for more details.
This can be extremely helpful if you are
operating
these switches manually,
or do not have sufficent extra contacts on
your Switch Machine
(e.g. basic stall motor machines such as
"Switch-Masters")
One or two RSP12's can automatically switch
a live frog,
or set up DCC dead sections, to prevent
common DCC
short-circuit shut-downs, e.g. when a loco
runs into a wrongly set switch.
An RDP12 is a more compact way of
having
two RSP12's operating together in one package.
It can switch both the frog and dead zones
for a switch simultaneously,
or automatically operate more complex
situations
such as reversing loops

INDUSTRIAL QUALITY SUB-MINIATURE "PUSH BUTTONS"
FOR "HIDE BETWEEN THE TIES" and other
HIDDEN OR "DISGUISED" MOUNTING APPLICATIONS

The
PSW1 Subminiature Push Button Switch - Click each picture to see
closer views
THESE ARE SOME
OF THE SMALLEST PUSH BUTTON SWITCHES AVAILABLE
AND WILL ACTUALLY FIT BETWEEN THE TIES OF MOST HO TURNOUTS.
They can be virtually buried in the ballast, or disguised as trackside
boxes, or mounted on walls or poles as other railroad control
paraphernalia
APPLICATIONS
INCLUDE
"HIDDEN" TURNOUT CONTROLS, "HIDDEN" UNCOUPLER CONTROLS AND OTHER SCENIC
APPLICATION WHERE LOCAL, BUT "INVISIBLE" SWITCH LOCATION IS DESIRABLE.
These switches are suitable
for medium current (<100 mA) operation at 12v. They are
suitable for intermittent direct control of low current "stall" type
switch machines and electronic circuit inputs, as well as our relays
above. Use with a series current limiting resistor is strongly
recommended. We are happy to explain how to use these in conjunction
with our relays for
switching higher current circuits, including live frogs and
many other operations.
Part #, Description Price
PSW1-2 Normally open, 100mA, Single contact
$2.95
Sub-miniature push button. - Two pack
USEFUL FOR
DETECTING THE POSITION OF MANUALLY OPERATED TURNOUTS
USING HIDDEN OR "DISGUISED" MOUNTING APPLICATIONS, ROTARY CAM POSTIONS,
ETC.

NSW1 Micro-miniature Limit detection Switch - Click each picture

THIS IS ONE OF
THE SMALLEST LIMIT
SWITCHES AVAILABLE. With only a moderate effort this can be fitted into
the extended ties of a switch and used to detect the switch thrown
position, or the setting of a manual switch throw.
It can be virtually buried in the ballast, or disguised as a prototype
switch motor or dectector.
Part #, Description Price
NSW1-1 Normally open, 100mA, Single contact $1.99
